La estrella en ascenso de la LPGA y atleta del Equipo Toyota, Lizette Salas, recaudará fondos a través de su juego
As part of the program Drive for succes of Toyota, Lizette Salas, rising star of the LPGA will raise funds for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) for each round of golf she plays. Throughout the season, for every birdie (one shot under the pair) that Salas does, she will raise $ 1,500 and for each eagle (a full hole for two shots under pair) she will raise U.S. $ 5,000. With one shot, specifically a hole in one to do during her first round in one of her other domestic tournaments, Salas could send an additional U.S. $ 1 million to the nonprofit organization.”As the first person in my family to obtain a college degree, I am proud to help promote the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and its key objectives for Hispanic students,” Salas said. “Thanks to the generous support of Toyota, every good shot I do will put money in the bank so that more students can continue their education and pursue their passions as I have done.”With this union, Salas is helping Toyota to promote their commitment to the Latino community. For over 25 years, Toyota has supported the HSF donating more than $ 5.7 million to fund scholarships and related services.”Lizette is the perfect example to raise awareness about the important work that makes the HSF” Ed Laukes, VP of Marketing, Performance and Experience for the guest for Toyota, said. “With her help, both on and off the golf field, we hope to provide better assistance to grants and services of the organization that supports students seeking higher education.”
